Codex Arsenal: Card Families

Search the known card names and learn how each family fits into the collection.

Collection preview. These names and families appear in the project’s design records. A listing is not a released card, an inventory record, or permission to self-print.

A collection with different jobs

Some cards represent coin powers. Others describe patterns, achievements, environments, or creatures. A finished gameplay card needs its own ability, activation conditions, and ownership rules.

How cards enter the collection

A course may offer a named passport card reward. A game may also list cards among its prizes. Purchases, upgrades, and trades need approved prices and ownership rules before they can be used. Read the relevant course rules and summon notice.

Codex Draw gives one random standard card; Realm Draft reveals three eligible cards and lets you keep one. Cardwright’s Forge is an opportunity to develop an approved card with the instructor.

Reference cards and gameplay cards

The Power Dictionary’s reference cards explain terms and passport rewards. They are not the collectible playing cards used to resolve CoinMasters abilities. Owning a gameplay card also does not waive its printed activation cost.

Only the base Power-Up Passport PDF may be self-printed. More powerful cards, scrolls, and passports must be issued.
